This game was designed as part of a master thesis to test the impact of serious games as an educational tool on participation in spatial design.

The first part 'help Ray to find his way' aims to protect our hero, raindrop Ray, from various obstacles and processes to get him to the stations where he will be collected, filtered and reused as rainwater.

The second part ‘let Ray help you to find solutions’ consists of solution cards containing design  proposals for rainwater. The aim of this part is to provide a selection of solutions for people who want to participate in decision-making processes in spatial design and to support them in creating an inclusive vision.

Ray is a gender-neutral name of English and German origins, open to a wealth of interpretations and impressions. In the Old German tongue, Ray finds fitting roots in reign, meaning "counsel" or "advice," elevating the bearer to a more learned stature.
